About Vijayamma garu

She was born on 19 April 1956 in Kadapa District. She is a Protestant Christian. Vijayamma was married to Y. S. Rajashekhara Reddy and has a son Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy,[5] and a daughter, Y. S. Sharmila.

Following the death of her husband, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, she was elected without opposition to his Pulivendula seat in the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly in February 2010.

She resigned in March 2011 from her MLA post to seek a re-election from Pulivendula constituency after joining YSR Congress party.In by-elections in Pulivendula Y. S. Vijayamma won the Pulivendula Assembly seat by a record majority of 85,373 votes, highest in that constituency. Vijayamma secured a record 81,373 votes margin, surpassing her husband’s 68,681 vote margin in the 2009 elections. Her nearest Congress rival, brother-in-law Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, got a little more than 28,000 votes.

In September 2012, Vijayamma alleged that the government has diluted the fee reimbursement scheme which was the brain child of former Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy. Vijayamma said that the scheme was diluted by the current government headed by Rajasekhara Reddy by putting ceilings on ranks for eligibility, thus depriving education to the poor. She staged a two-day hunger strike at the Indira Park in Hyderabad.

About Y. S. Sharmila garu

Sharmila was born in 1974 to Y. S. Vijayamma and Y. S. Rajashekara Reddy, and is the sister of Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy. She is married to M. Anil Kumar and has two children.

She entered active politics in June 2012 when she campaigned for YSR Congress candidate Konda Surekha during the by-elections in Parkal in Warangal and won considerable seats.

She completed a 3112 kilometer walkathon called Maro Praja Prasthanam across Andhra Pradesh from 18 October 2012 and ended on 4 August 2013, covering 14 districts in ten months.

About Y.S.Bharathi garu

Bharati (Bharathi) Reddy is the wife of politician YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Bharati is the daughter of Dr. E.C Gangi Reddy, a local pediatrician and philanthropist from Pulivendula.Bharati and Jagan married on 28 Aug 1996. The couple has two daughters.

Bharathi has also taken control of all the family’s businesses including Jagati Publications that includes the Telugu daily Sakshi and Sakshi Telugu news channel. Bharathi, who has a degree in business administration (finance) from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, is in charge of Bharathi Cements, named after her, as its director since it was established.
